Amaretti are italian cookies made with almonds, using also a few bitter almonds. They are a perfect match for pumpking in savory and sweet recipes
Pumpkin, amaretti and sage appetizers
Ingredients
Serves two:
200g pumpkin
1 teaspoon chopped sage
2 amaretti
2 slices of bread
butter
oil
Directions
Cut the pumpkin into very thin slices, drizzle with a little olive oil and place the slices on a baking sheet, overlapping slightly.
Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and sprinkle with sage.
Cut the bread into squares, toast and spread with butter. Garnish with slices of baked pumpkin and pieces of amaretti.
