Banana Sweet is an Annuum chili pepper. The plant produces many mild -almost sweet- fruits that ripen from yellow to red, large and crunchy.
Banana Sweet chili sauce
Ingredients
8 Banana Sweet chilies (150g)
3 cloves garlic
4 tbsp white vinegar
3 tbsp sugar
25g flour
Directions
Remove stem and seeds from peppers, add garlic, vinegar and sugar and blend into a puree.
Place in a pan, sprinkle with flour, and pour water little by little. Thicken by cooking at low heat for 15 minutes.

Plant height: 60 - 70 cm
Colour: From pale green to yellow, orange and finally to red.
Why grow it?:
To harvest big, fleshy and crisp chili, delicious either raw, sauteed or roasted.
Memo:
The Banana Sweet plant has proved incredibly durable, even if seriously damaged by the wind has recovered and has produced many fruits throughout the summer.
