Recipe: Broccoli and sausage pasta

Inspired by the traditional schiacciata from Sicily, a savory pie with broccoli and sausage, I prepared a tasty pasta.
Broccoli and sausage pasta
Ingredients
Serves two:
200g penne rigate
250g sausage or minced pork meat
200g primosale (fresh pecorino cheese)
1 onion
Directions
Boil the broccoli in salted water, then drain it and set aside the cooking water.
Cook the pasta in the broccoli cooking water, until al dente.
Meanwhile, mince the onion and fry it in a large pan with olive oil 1 minute. Add minced sausage and stir until brown.
Drain well the penne and put in the frying pan. Add the chopped broccoli, and diced cheese.
Cook until the cheese is melted and serve.
