Blooming time: white mustard, coriander and chamomile
Growing aromatic herbs
April 22, 2009
Many plants and herbs started to bloom, so I decided to show them today because it's Earth Day... and because today my baby is four months old. I wish a beautiful and sunny day to him and you all!
This is a White Mustard flower. I'm not harvesting it anymore, letting the plant produce seeds.
The coriander is bolting too, and already producing the first seeds. When this happens, leaves become different in shape and taste.
You can harvest many chamomile flowers as you want: the plant is selfseeding and will reborn next winter.
My Corleone Tomato has only buds, not flowers but it's a beginning! This is the first year I'm growing tomatoes, I can't wait to harvest them.
