Recipe: Aromatic French toast
Sandwiches and bruschetta with herbs

Are you planning breakfast in bed for Mother's Day? Here is a classic recipe, perfect for the occasion, as for a Sunday brunch.
I will start soon to harvest the herbs for my homemade Mediterranean Aromatic Mixture with sage, oregano, rosemary, thyme and other aromatic herbs, but I still have the one prepared last year, and I added to this french toasts.
Aromatic French toast
Ingredients
half a baguette, preferably from the day before
1 glass of milk
1 egg
1 tbsp mixed herbs
Directions
Cut the baguette into slices about 1 cm thick.
Beat the egg with milk and herbs, then dip the slices of bread.
Fry in hot oil on both sides until they are golden brown.
Serve alone, or with cream cheese and honey.
